Crouch is the reality of daily life in small-town Idaho. Created using home videos from residents in 2009, before the age of Instagram and the bullshit influencer personality, when the handheld camera was becoming accessible to low income households and the people were experimenting by recording everything from a backyard church barbecue to their friend jerking off in the corner, these are raw, unfiltered reflections of a time when the camera was not a medium for public performance but an intimate extension of the soul.
